My name is Dorothea, I’m 21 years old, I’m originally from Romania and currently living in Berlin, Germany. This blog aims to follow up (almost) everything I am and do:
- an aspiring documentary photographer.
- an SEO consultant & webmaster.
- co-founder of a small and sweet tea shop in Bucharest.
- a student at the Humboldt University in Berlin: currently doing a B.A. in Area Studies.
- an active language learner: I am fluent in Romanian and German, currently taking Hindi and Portuguese lessons and also looking forward to improve my English skills through this blog.
- a former professional tennis player: I still try to be on the court at least 2-3 times a week.
- a bookworm, movieworm and musicworm.
- an indefatigable wanderer & wonderer.
as I already said: your level of English is astonishing. You definitely have a thing for foreign languages. Cartoons also helped me start up my knowledge of English and I wish I had done that with German. Best ways of learning a language: cartoons/movies and music.
Thank you so much, Adina! It may be good, acceptable but to “astonishing” there’s still a long way to go. Cartoons are indeed the best way of learning a language, especially when you’re a kid.
